Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a technician to extract log data from electronic products and prepare devices for hardware investigations following SOPs.

You will access internal components, support investigations, perform data entry to internal systems and to authorities' systems, and help inventory checks.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and SOPs.
• Ability to access internal components for investigations.
• Comfort with assembling/disassembling devices.

Responsibilities

• Extract log data from electronic products according to SOPs.
• Prepare devices for hardware investigations, including accessing components using jigs and laptops.
• Support hardware investigation activities as required.
• Perform data entry and upload to internal management system.
• Perform data entry and upload to authorities' management systems.
• Conduct periodic checks on authorities' management systems and prepare status summaries.
• Pack faulty products for further investigation by overseas teams.
• Collect faulty products from approved automobile workshops and service centres.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and follow up on collected faulty products.

Working Hour

8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Mon - Fri
Standby duties on weekend or after work on rotational basis

Job Responsibilities

• Extract log data from electronic products according to established SOPs.
• Prepare electronic products for hardware investigations, including accessing internal components using jigs and laptop PCs, in accordance with SOPs.
• Support hardware investigation activities as required.
• Perform data entry and upload information to the internal management system.
• Perform data entry and upload information to relevant authorities' management systems.
• Conduct periodic checks on authorities' management systems and prepare status summaries.
• Pack faulty products for further investigation by overseas teams when required.
• Collect faulty products from approved automobile workshops and service centres.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and follow up on the status of collected faulty products.

Job Requirements

• Class 3 driving licence preferred
• Min Diploma / Nitec in Engineering and above
