Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an Assistant/Deputy/Senior Application Development Manager (SAE) to participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will contribute to front-end or back-end modules with guidance and learn to configure common middleware components.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of software development experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic understanding of front-end or back-end technologies and programming principles.
• Familiarity with common middleware (e.g., Nginx, Kafka, Redis) is a plus but not required.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana), or logging systems (e.g., ELK) is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of RPA tools is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain front-end (React/Vue/Angular) or back-end (Java/Python/.NET) modules with guidance.
• Learn to configure and support middleware components such as API gateways, message queues, caching, and load balancers.
• Assist in system operations by monitoring alerts, documenting incidents, and supporting root cause analysis.
• Support project delivery tasks such as progress tracking, documentation, and cross-team coordination.
