Job summary

ROMA Group in Hong Kong seeks a high-caliber candidate for a valuation analytics role. Responsibilities include preparing analyses for financial reporting, building valuation models, and conducting company and market research using public data and financial databases.

Fresh graduates or those with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and knowledge of major databases is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
• Experience or internship in valuation, audit, accounting, corporate finance, consulting, equity research, or financial analysis is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and business valuation concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, FactSet, or similar databases is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS, Python, VBA, SQL, or other data-analysis tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing business valuation analyses for financial reporting, transaction, tax, regulatory, and other corporate-advisory purposes.
• Support the preparation of valuation models using discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transaction, and other valuation methodologies.
• Conduct company, industry, market, and comparable-company research using public information and financial databases.
• Collect, organize, and review client financial information, including financial statements, management accounts, forecasts, and supporting documents.
• Assist with financial statement analysis, comparable-company analysis, valuation-multiple calculations, and key valuation assumptions.
• Prepare supporting schedules, charts, tables, working papers, and draft sections of valuation reports and presentations.
• Perform accuracy checks on calculations, financial models, report formatting, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized engagement files and support project administration, including information-request tracking and deadline management.
• Work closely with senior team members and participate in internal training and professional development.
