ESG & Climate Advisory – Graduate Trainee / Analyst / Consultant

Roma Risk Advisory Limited (“ROMA”) is a well-established consultancy firm engaged in the provision of a wide range of services including Corporate and Risk Advisory, Sustainability and Climate Strategy Advisory, and Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) Reporting Services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our dynamic ESG & Sustainability consulting team.

Responsibilities

Prepare ESG reports for corporate clients across a wide range of industries, including ESG strategy and policy formulation, KPI and action plan development as well as data collection and analysis

Support the delivery of climate-related advisory services including risk and opportunity assessment, climate scenario analysis, greenhouse gas accounting, decarbonization strategy, carbon trading and SBTi submission

Conduct research on ESG trending, regulations, best practice etc. and communicate results through reports and presentations

Prepare materials in relation to business development, including proposals, marketing materials, social media content and award application

Organize ESG related activities for both internal and external stakeholders, including training sessions, seminars and CSR events

Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

Preferably 1 to 3 years of related working experience, fresh graduates with relevant internship experience and a growth mindset are also welcome

Must be passionate about Sustainability and have a genuine belief in the need for decarbonization to combat climate change

University degree preferably in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Social Science, Accounting or other related disciplines. Willingness to pursue a second degree or professional certification is an advantage

Good understanding of and interests in local and international sustainability framework e.g., HKEX, GRI, ISSB, and SBTi etc., carbon accounting and ESG ratings

Knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in prior work, will be preferred

Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) with high proficiency in Chinese word processing

Experience in data analytics will be an advantage
