Job summary

King Deux Search & Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a regional securities and brokerage client to join their treasury function in Hong Kong. The role handles daily cash operations, forecasts liquidity, and maintains internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a finance degree and 2–3 years of treasury experience, is fluent in English and Mandarin, and can work independently while collaborating with accounting and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting, Professional Accounting, or related field.
• 2–3 years of treasury experience in a financial institution or sizeable firm.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for an Accountant title.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deposit orders, bank loan orders, and loan administration for cash flow.
• Forecast and monitor cash flow to determine borrowing needs.
• Establish treasury policies, internal controls, and regulatory reporting support.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance and Business Units to improve treasury processes.
• Foster relationships with banking partners to enable efficient treasury operations.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and special projects for management.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the seamless execution of deposit orders, bank loan orders, and loan administration processes to ensure optimal cash flow management.
• Closely monitoring and forecasting the organization's cash flow positions, allowing you to proactively determine borrowing needs and available funds.
• Establishing and maintaining a robust system of treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls to govern all treasury-related activities and support regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Finance, and Business Units, to drive process improvements and spearhead treasury-focused projects.
• Fostering strong relationships with key banking partners to facilitate efficient treasury operations.
• Providing support on ad-hoc assignments and special projects as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting, Professional Accounting, Accountancy or any related
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience working within the treasury function of a financial institution or a sizeable firm
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working independently, while also exhibiting strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
