JINSHI ASSET MANAGEMENT LIMITED is seeking an Assistant Accountant in Hong Kong to manage daily accounting operations and support timely financial reporting. You will handle AR/AP, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and assist with month-end closing while ensuring HKFRS compliance.

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Assistant Accountant with at least 3 years of solid accounting experience to join our dynamic finance team. You will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, and ensuring full compliance with Hong Kong regulations, including HKFRS and relevant SFC/FRR requirements.

Manage full Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes: invoice processing, payment scheduling & follow-up, statement issuance, and proactive collection efforts.
Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Record daily transactions, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end/year-end closing (trial balances, adjustments, draft financial statements).
Support tax filings, fixed asset register maintenance, and general ledger upkeep.
Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors, preparing and providing required documentation efficiently.
Organize and maintain financial records (filing, scanning, digital archiving).
Verify expense claims, process purchase orders, and manage vendor documentation.
Handle finance-related queries, coordinate internal communications, and update finance systems.
Take on ad-hoc tasks to keep the finance function running smoothly.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
At least 3 years of practical accounting/bookkeeping experience, ideally with full-cycle accounting exposure.
Good understanding of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and local regulatory requirements (advantage if familiar with FRR/SFC rules).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, advanced formulas) and accounting software (e.g., MYOB or similar).
Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong time management skills to thrive in a deadline-driven setting.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin).
