Job summary

Bitfire Group Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to oversee compliance across all business lines, including asset management and digital asset activities. You will work closely with senior management to ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

The role emphasizes licensing, reporting, KYC/AML checks, regulatory reviews, and ongoing governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Compliance.
• Experience in Asset Management and Buy side business is a must.
• Well versed with SFC regulation, including CoC, FMCC, and T&C.
• Solid knowledge of different fund structures including SPC, ELP, HKLPF, OFC.
• Experience in regulators, fintech firms, or financial/banking industry is a plus.
• Experience in handling Connected Transactions and Continuous Connected Transactions is a plus.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory inspections is a plus.
• Experience using wallet screening tools like Chainalysis or similar is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Full spectrum of compliance function across all business lines.
• Act as Manager in Charge for Compliance function.
• Provide regulatory support, managing licensing, reporting, and conduct requirements, including applications and regulatory notifications.
• Conduct reviews of sales and marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
• Perform staff dealing processing and monitoring activities.
• Carry out onboarding KYC & AML compliance checks and reviews of new client relationships.
• Undertake counterparty due diligence and annual reviews.
• Design and maintain pre- and post-investment compliance functions.
• Collaborate with Senior Management to implement and enhance compliance policies and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes to ensure an effective program.
• Develop relationships with regulators.
• Assist in SFC FRR preparation.
• Assist in operational risk related matters.
