Job summary

Daifuku Mechatronics (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer to assist in gathering user requirements, crafting functional specs, and developing software modules. You will perform internal testing and help set up PC hardware, servers, and peripherals on projects for on-site delivery.

The role supports testing and commissioning of software on-site, creation of deliverables, and post-go-live customer support. A Diploma in IT or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design.
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL; Oracle preferred.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in gathering User Requirements and meeting Customer
• Assists in creating Functional Specification and Basic Design
• Develops the assigned software modules and performs internal testing
• Assists in setting up of PC hardware, Server, and other peripherals
• Assists in the testing and commissioning of software on-site
• Assists in creating software deliverables (Specifications, Operation, Troubleshooting & etc)
• Assists in the handing over of software deliverables to Customer
• Assists in supporting the Customer after project go-live
