Job summary

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking a junior research assistant to support macroeconomic research in Hong Kong. You will handle economic and sector reports, draft short-term analyses, and forecast macro variables while coordinating with the research team.

The role suits fresh graduates or those with under one year of experience who are detail oriented, highly analytical, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. Chinese language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economic, Business, or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduate or less than 1 year of experience.
• Detail oriented and highly analytical.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in Chinese (reading/writing) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle and support for economic and sector reports.
• Prepare simple econometric analysis.
• Draft and prepare the short-term analysis.
• Prepare forecast of macroeconomic variables.
• Manage the databases including the contact list.
• Coordinate the work with the research team and other stakeholders.
