Linklaters Asia invites first-year law students from underrepresented backgrounds to join the Making Links Asia University Programme in Hong Kong. The programme offers interactive webinars, one-on-one coaching, and a paid work experience in the nearest local office.

Participants will benefit from English language development in a professional setting and active involvement in local office activities, building commercial fluency and a global outlook for a career in commercial law.

Qualifications

• First year law students who identify as coming from a low-income and/or underrepresented background.
• Commitment to pursuing a career in commercial law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in webinars and online learning organised regionally (January to June).
• Receive one-on-one coaching sessions and a paid work experience in the closest local office.
• Join local office activities and develop confidence using English in a professional setting.
