Brandnographer in Hong Kong is seeking a hands-on AI Researcher to architect, code, and test core ML/DL algorithms for our AI Digital Twin R&D project. You will work under the Chief Scientist, translating breakthroughs into a scalable research-to-innovation pipeline.

This role is purely R&D-focused, with independence to experiment and iterate, and requires the ability to defend technical decisions during regular milestone reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a STEM discipline.
• Degree from a local Hong Kong university or a globally recognized non-local institution.
• Proven ability to build end-to-end ML pipelines using Python and major AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Strong capability to work independently with high-level technical oversight and code-architecture reviews.
• Eligible to work in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Core algorithm development: research, design, and code ML/DL models for AI Digital Twins.
• Prototyping: build PoC frameworks focusing on predictive analytics and cognitive modeling.
• Scientific research: review papers and translate algorithms into clean code.
• Performance evaluation: design tests and report bottlenecks and optimizations.

About Brandnographer

To pioneer our next technological leap, we are establishing a dedicated R&D initiative to build proprietary AI Digital Twins that simulate complex behavioral models.

The Role

We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on AI Researcher to drive the technical execution of our AI Digital Twin R&D project.

This is a purely research and development-focused role. You will independently architect, code, and test the core algorithms. To ensure your research milestones translate effectively into our innovation pipeline, you will work under the strategic technical guidance of our Chief Scientist, participating in rigorous R&D milestone reviews. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-driven researcher to build a complex AI architecture from scratch while receiving executive-level strategic mentorship.

Key R&D Responsibilities

• **Core Algorithm Development:** Take hands-on responsibility for researching, designing, and coding Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models that form the foundation of our AI Digital Twins
• **Prototyping & Iteration:** Build proof-of-concept (PoC) frameworks from the ground up, focusing on predictive analytics, cognitive modeling, and generative AI
• **Scientific Research & Implementation:** Autonomously investigate state-of-the‑art academic papers and industry advancements, translating complex mathematical algorithms into functional, clean code
• **Performance Evaluation & R&D Reporting:** Design rigorous testing environments to validate model accuracy. Present technical bottlenecks, algorithmic optimizations, and milestone results in regular R&D reviews with your supervising Director
• **IP Documentation:** Systematically record your architectural decisions, data structures, and experimental outcomes for internal intellectual property (IP) development and future patent scoping

Required Qualifications

• **Education:** Must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, or Engineering)
• **Institution:** Degree obtained from a local Hong Kong university or a globally recognized non‑local institution (e.g., top 100 in global STEM subject rankings)
• **Technical Execution:** Proven ability to build end‑to‑end ML pipelines. Deep proficiency in Python and major AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras)
• **Research Autonomy:** Strong capability to work independently on heavy coding and algorithmic tasks, while remaining receptive to high‑level technical oversight and code‑architecture reviews
• **Work Eligibility:** Must be legally permitted to work in Hong Kong

Preferred Skills

• Prior hands‑on experience building autonomous agents, LLM integrations, or behavioral simulation models
• Experience with vector databases and spatial computing data structures
• A strong GitHub portfolio showcasing complex R&D or algorithm‑heavy projects built from scratch
