China Mobile International Limited is seeking several senior AI research scientists to join our platform group across China. You will lead development of multimodal foundation models, build closed-loop perception-action systems for smart vision and IoT devices, and own pipelines for large-model training and inference at scale.

You will advance 3GPP/ITU standard contributions, drive formal verification and safety in edge environments, and collaborate with elite teams to deliver production-grade

Qualificações

• 3+ years in AI research or applied AI engineering.
• At least 3–5 first-author publications in top-tier AI venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, TPAMI, KDD, SIGCOMM).
• Hands-on production deployment experience with large-model training (1B parameters).
• Deep specialized expertise in 1–2 domains: multimodal models, LLM agents, CV, NLP, network AI, IoT OS, or formal verification.

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead core architectures for multimodal models across text, image, audio, video, and sensor data.
• Architect LLM databases and agent lifecycles for next-gen network O&M; contribute to 3GPP/ITU standards.
• Drive RTOS performance optimization, fault tolerance, and functional safety for edge/IoT environments.
• Bridge research with industrial deployment: enable large-scale training and efficient inference for hundreds of millions of users.

What You Will Own:

• Multimodal Foundation Models & Closed-Loop Systems: Design and lead core architectures for text, image, audio, video, and sensor multimodal models; drive cross-modal semantic alignment and build perception-decision-action closed loops for smart vision and multi-device coordination.
• Core-Network Generative AI & 5G/6G Intelligence: Architect LLM databases and agent lifecycles for next-gen network O&M, owning everything from algorithm design to 3GPP/ITU standards contribution.
• IoT Operating Systems & Formal Verification: Drive RTOS performance optimization, system fault tolerance, and rigorous functional safety compliance for advanced edge and IoT environments.
• Production-Grade Frontier Delivery: Bridge world-class theoretical research with industrial execution—delivering large-scale model training runs and inference optimization that serve hundreds of millions of users.

The Profile We Look For:

• 3+ years in AI research or applied AI engineering, preferably with experience in leading high-performing IC or small-team setups.
• At least 3–5 first-author publications in top-tier AI venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, TPAMI, KDD, SIGCOMM).
• Hands-on production deployment experience with large-model training ( 1B parameters), inference optimization, and model serving.
• Deep specialized expertise in 1–2 domains: multimodal foundation models, LLM agents, CV, NLP, network AI, IoT OS, or formal verification.
• Technical fluency in English; Mandarin working proficiency is preferred.
