Job summary

10 Design, part of Egis Group, is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Hong Kong studio and help deliver design excellence for diverse high-rise projects. You will assist in translating design concepts into documentation, coordinating with disciplines, and ensuring compliance with local codes and QA/QC procedures.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3D Max, and strong English are essential; Mandarin/Cantonese are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture (RIBA Part 1 or 2 or equivalent).
• Excellent design skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3D Max.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese desirable.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the design principles of projects.
• Coordinate between disciplines and sub-consultants.
• Produce complete documents per project brief and local codes.
• Analyse design-related issues for spatial organization and functional layout.
• Maintain awareness of project contracts, schedules and deliverables.
• Ensure cost awareness during the design process.
• Adhere to QA/QC procedures and company filing standards.
• Keep up-to-date with construction and design trends through CPD.
