Job summary

GenesisNet Technology Limited seeks a mobile developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality Android apps using Kotlin/Java, and to ship cross-platform apps with React Native. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver pixel-perfect interfaces and robust experiences across devices.

The role requires 1–3 years of Android/React Native experience, familiarity with MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture, and strong English/Cantonese communication.

Qualifications

• High Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related disciplines.
• 1 - 3 years of Android native and/or React Native development; fresh grads with strong portfolios considered.
• Solid experience in Android app development using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Hands-on experience with React Native ecosystem (Redux, React Navigation, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party library integration.
• Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture patterns.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and guidelines (Material Design).
• Experience with Google Play distribution is a plus.
• Strong communication in English and Cantonese.

Job description

Design, develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

Build and ship cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive, pixel-perfect user interfaces and smooth user experiences.

Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services into mobile applications.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability across different devices and OS versions.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, tools and technologies.

Key Requirements:

High Diploma / Degree holder in Computer Science,Software Engineering or IT related disciplines.

1 - 3 years of experience in Android native and/or React Native development. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios will also be considered.

Solid experience in Android app development using Kotlin and/or Java.

Hands-on experience with React Native framework and its ecosystem (Redux, React Navigation, etc.).

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party library integration.

Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and platform-specific design guidelines (Material Design).

Experience with app distribution via Google Play Store is a plus.

Good analytical, problem solving, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.

Good communication in English and Cantonese.
