Job summary

Santander’s Corporate & Investment Banking Financing Group in Asia Pacific seeks a Vice President to support the growth of its regional financing franchise. The role covers infrastructure/project finance, real estate, asset finance, syndicated loans, and DCM, with hands-on origination, structuring, due diligence and closing.

The successful candidate will coordinate with internal teams, manage multi-workstream processes and contribute to client presentations and market updates across Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in project finance, structured finance and/or DCM syndicate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong credit, financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Knowledge of financing documentation, due diligence, internal credit approvals and cross-border transaction execution.
• Experience with syndication / distribution and deal execution.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional Asian languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, structuring and execution of financing transactions across infrastructure, real estate, asset finance and related products.
• Prepare and review financial analyses, credit analysis, rating considerations and return analyses.
• Assist with client presentations, market updates, financing proposals and term sheets.
• Coordinate due diligence, internal approvals, documentation and closing activities.
• Support syndication and DCM execution, pricing considerations and distribution steps.
• Monitor existing transactions, covenant compliance and refinancing opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional teams to grow Santander’s Financing Group in Asia Pacific.
