• Design and implement cash pooling and working capital solutions for APAC entities.
• Advise on currency exposures and hedging strategies; support tax-efficient cash repatriation.
• Lead treasury activities during new entity setups, due diligence, and integration in APAC.

Job description

• Coordinates company activities relating to banking

• Assists in other treasury projects as directed

Monitors and analyzes company cash positions to cover cash commitments. Compiles short-term and long-term cash forecasts and coordinates the movement of any excess cash to and from investment accounts. Coordinates company activities relating to banking. Evaluates bank services and fees, monitors bank performance and recommends appropriate action. Monitors portfolio investments and produces management reports detailing performance. Directs and reviews financial statement analysis of new and existing customers. Assists in other treasury projects as directed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The individual will be a key person and treasury expert in our APAC region, and will focus on several areas as follows:

• Maintain solid relationship with various banking partners in APAC
• Streamline APAC banking operations; monitor banking activities and services to ensure both controls and service-level agreements are met
• Manage liquidity as well as excess cash investment for APAC entities and explore/implement a cash pooling structure for the region
• Work closely with the tax team to develop/design and implement tax-efficient cash repatriation strategy
• Develop and implement working capital solutions for various entities in APAC
• Develop and implement financing/leasing solutions to support revenue growth in the region
• Advise the business on currency exposures and related hedging strategy in the region
• Act as treasury lead in new entity setup in APAC region as well as due diligence, acquisition and integration of entities in the region
• Act as treasury liaison with shared service centers in India and China
• Manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for APAC treasury operations and support internal and external audit requirements
• Implement best practices and improve automation of key processes within Treasury, work with key stakeholders in instituting process improvements
• Other responsibilities include assisting global banking RFP, global cash flow forecast/liquidity management, annual insurance renewal, foreign exchange hedging, and other ad hoc projects

Qualifications :

• Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline; MBA and/ or CTP a plus
• Candidates with a track record selling B2B technology, connectivity, infrastructure, or mission-critical services Telecommunications (Telecom), Network Infrastructure, Communications Technology, Test & Measurement Equipment, Telecom Equipment / Telecom Vendors, ICT or related industries will be highly regarded.
• 8+ years corporate treasury experience,
• Acute attention to details; strong business judgement and autonomy
• A ‘hands-on’ professional who is comfortable working on detailed transactions on an independent basis and coordinating input from others
• Ability to multi-task, deal with ambiguity and work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, gain consensus among various teams, and drive initiatives to completion effectively
• Intellectual curiosity to seek knowledge and problem solve independently with minimal direct supervision
• Highly effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
