Job summary

IMC is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst to join the APAC Middle Office team, supporting our systematic equities and ETF desks across APAC markets. You will help traders operate safely and efficiently during trading hours.

The role emphasizes accuracy, time-sensitive work, and collaboration across desks, with exposure to Python, SQL, VBA and internal tooling development to improve controls and visibility.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in a Middle Office, Trade Support or Product Control role
• Tertiary education in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working under time pressure
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously across different markets
• A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and proactively
• Experience with Python, SQL, VBA and Claude Code is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Track and manage the full lifecycle of corporate actions and associated position changes
• Provide traders with a clear view of tradeable positions and issues before market entry
• Work with prime brokers and clearers to correct reports across counterparties
• Reconcile P&L and cash breaks, including swap and corporate action-driven breaks
• Contribute to ETF P&L analysis and refinement across multi-currency factors
• Design and build internal tooling to improve visibility of issues
