Job summary

State Street in APAC seeks a Settlement/Payment Risk Credit Officer to monitor and approve settlement credit exposures across the APAC region. You will escalate risks and support risk management with the Head of APAC Credit.

The role requires strong credit analysis, English fluency, and 5+ years in credit roles. Hybrid work with 4 days in office, Sydney-based, and collaboration across FLOD and client services teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or Credit Officer.

Responsibilities

• Global monitoring and approval of settlement credit exposures for the APAC region.
• Assess availability of funding by end-of-day based on evidence or confirmation.
• Evaluate the risk rationale for approving exceptions and communicate to the business lines for remediation.
• Perform daily monitoring of DLOD and OD exposures and escalate material exposures to Credit Risk.
• Review and approve Daylight Overdraft Memos in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
• Respond to Boston credit risk requests and FLOD on settlement credit questions.
