Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in banking or financial services, including senior leadership accountability.
• Proven ability to provide independent oversight and effective challenge to senior business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of regional regulatory expectations and experience engaging regulators in a senior capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional risk function, setting clear priorities and accountability across the team
• Define and execute the Asia Pacific risk strategy aligned to business objectives and risk appetite
• Oversee risk management across investment, credit, operational, fiduciary, reputational and conduct risks
• Assess and challenge new business initiatives and product changes, ensuring risks are identified, documented and mitigated
• Chair and contribute to governance forums and committees to strengthen oversight and decisioning
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive consistent controls, monitoring and issue management across the region
• Engage with regulators and internal stakeholders as a senior risk leader, providing credible and transparent risk perspectives
• Advise senior leadership with clear, practical guidance that balances growth, client outcomes and control standards
• Develop and retain diverse talent, building a strong culture of risk ownership, learning and performance
