Job summary

The role involves coordinating advocacy, risk guidance, and external engagement across governments, regulators, and industry groups. The incumbent will manage cross-functional teams, travel regionally, and report to the Head of Government Relations and Corporate Responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 15+ years in government, public policy, or external-facing roles within multinationals (including financial services).
• Experience across Asia Pacific policy-making processes and multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of Washington, DC political environment and policy-making process.
• Proven ability to build senior stakeholder relationships across public and private sectors.
• Demonstrated leadership managing diverse, cross-cultural teams.
• Experience setting strategy and executing multi-workstream plans with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive briefing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional APAC government relations strategies.
• Lead monitoring and reporting on political, regulatory, and legislative developments.
• Advise senior leaders on geopolitical risk, scenarios, and engagement.
• Deliver external perspectives through briefings, roundtables, and materials.
• Build and sustain relationships with governments, regulators, and diplomacy actors.
• Engage with multilateral bodies, trade associations, and think tanks.
