Job summary

Jane Street in Hong Kong seeks an experienced OTC Derivatives Reporting Specialist to support our Legal and Compliance team in building and operating robust swap reporting across APAC, with emphasis on Singapore and Hong Kong.

You will collaborate with Trading, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Engineering to translate reporting requirements into reliable data mappings and end-to-end reporting controls, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with MAS and HK OTC derivatives reporting regimes.
• Understand swap economics and lifecycle events (amendments, resets, novations, terminations, valuations).
• Familiar with ISDA terms; able to map confirmations to report standards.

Responsibilities

• Resolve interpretation questions with Legal and Compliance; translate requirements into field-level mappings.
• Work with software engineers to specify source data, transformation logic, and exception handling; test implementations for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify data or product complexities causing reporting challenges and propose solutions.
• Investigate rejected submissions and reconciliation breaks; trace issues to root causes and implement corrections.
• Engage early on new products to align reporting needs with trading while meeting regulatory obligations.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with providers/counterparties to resolve issues.
