Job summary

HR Plus seeks an experienced APAC Operations Director to oversee a wholly owned subsidiary across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on development, production, and supplier management.

The role requires regular travel, leading engineering, QA, and procurement teams, and ensuring efficient financial oversight while expanding operations throughout APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Proven experience in APAC operations development and management.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a subsidiary in Vietnam for consolidation and export.
• Travel to China for on-site development with production facilities and suppliers.
• Coordinate ODM & JDM client development and production liaison across brands.
• Negotiate pricing and supplier agreements to optimize cost and quality.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, annual tax audits, and purchasing budget.
• Supervise Engineering, QA, and Procurement teams.

Our client isseeking an experienced APAC Operations Director to manage a wholly ownedsubsidiary across APAC region. The successful candidate will play acritical role in expanding the operations in the Asia-Pacific region,focusing on development, production, and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishand Manage Subsidiary: Lead the establishment of a Limited businessentity in Vietnam for the consolidation and export of goods for globaldistribution.
• Development Liaison: Conduct routine travel toChina for on-site development work with key production facilities,secondary parts vendors, and raw material suppliers.
• ClientManagement: Act as the development and production liaison for ODM &JDM clients, ensuring alignment with brands across various sectors.
• Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and supplier agreements with all partners to optimize cost and quality.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee all accounts receivable/payable, annual tax audits, and manage a purchasing budget
• Staff Supervision: Supervise all staff, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Procurement teams.
