Job summary

SD Legal, a global in‑house legal and compliance consultancy, is hiring a senior corporate/commercial counsel to support its APAC operations from Hong Kong. The role focuses on corporate and commercial matters across the APAC region.

You will work with sales, marketing and product teams across Asia, UK and US, lead complex transactions, and advise on day‑to‑day matters while contributing to the APAC leadership team.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years PQE in corporate/commercial practice.
• Experience in both law firm and in‑house environments.
• In‑house experience with technology‑based businesses.
• Technology deal/transaction background.
• Able to collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams across Asia, UK and US.

Responsibilities

• Support APAC market business leaders with transactions, marketing, sales, and day‑to‑day legal advice.
• Lead complex transactions and oversee legal support throughout deal lifecycles.
• Assist product teams in developing new products, services and solutions.
• Be part of the APAC leadership team, reporting to the General Counsel.
