Job summary

A HKSAR Government Department is seeking an IT professional to maintain and develop a range of web-based applications within the government framework. The role focuses on system development, deployment, and ongoing support to ensure reliability and compliance with public-sector standards.

You will work across front- and back-end technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to documentation and administrative tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma holder or above in IT/ Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience software development across both front- and back- end technologies.
• At least 3 years working experience with/ in the Government.
• Knowledge of Oracle DBMS/SQL, MyBatis, and erwin Data Modeling.
• Knowledge of build automation (Maven), reporting tools (e.g., Jasper Report), and object storage (e.g., Amazon S3).
• Solid experience with application support and system maintenance in various applications.
• Solid experience with Building Control systems or inspection systems.
• Candidates with solid experience with open-source tools (Eclipse, Jenkins, Apache, JMeter, Gitea) will be advantageous.
