Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Hong Kong is seeking an Analyst Programmer to support Oracle Financials System and Workflow applications. You will participate in revamping the Workflow System and BI projects, analyze user requirements, and develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science, over 2 years of experience in system support or application development, and is proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, and K2 Blackpearl. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Over 2-year experience in system support or application development.
• Oracle Financials or other ERP system experience would be an advantage.
• Experience in application development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on Oracle Financials System & Workflow applications.
• Participate in Workflow System Revamp and Business Intelligence (BI) system projects.
• Analyse and evaluate user requirements for system design.
• Develop, test, implement and maintain Workflow Applications.
• Monitor system health and carry out performance tuning.
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain systems.

• Provide supports on Oracle Financials System & Workflow applications
• Participate in Workflow System Revamp and Business Intelligence (BI) system projects
• Analyse and evaluate user requirements by coordinating with the user to define the problem, data availability, report requirement and system design problem
• Develop, test, implement and maintain Workflow Applications with mobility and K2 Blackpearl / Five, Single Page Application (SPA) with OAuth2.0 and REST API
• Act proactively in product development process and participate in code reviews
• Bring in / Pick up new technologies and develop innovative approaches to solve encountered challenges
• Handle user enquiries both local and overseas, as well as providing ad hoc reporting and technical support
• Monitor the system healthiness and carry out performance tuning
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain systems

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• Over 2-year experience in system support or application development
• Oracle Financials or other ERP system experience would be an advantage
• Experience in application development using Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL, .NET, JavaScript (Angular / React SPA), K2 Blackpearl workflow, GitLab CI, RESTful API, DevOPs and Linux experience is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule
