Job summary

Hong Kong Economic Times is seeking a software professional to develop AI-powered features and automated workflows. You will design and maintain CMS, Data Lake, and Data Catalog, while architecting AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of software development experience and strong AWS cloud knowledge, including AI/workflow tools like AWS Bedrock, Step Functions, and n8n, plus database performance optimization and data migration skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
• Proven experience designing and developing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong system design and development skills.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Experience with AI/workflow tools including AWS Bedrock, AWS Step Functions, and n8n.
• Database performance optimization and data migration experience is a plus.

• Design, develop, and maintain CMS, Data Lake, and Data Catalog
• Architect, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to support application deployment, with a strong focus on reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional team, communicating proactively to understand requirements and deliver systematic solutions

About you:

• Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in software development
• Proven experience in designing and developing AWS cloud infrastructure
• Strong system design and development skills
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platform
• Practical experience with AI and workflow tools, including: AWS Bedrock, AWS Step Functions, and n8n
• Solid understanding of backend performance metrics, such as reliability, scalability, and durability
• Experience in database performance optimization and data migration is a strong plus
