Job summary

Unknown Client is seeking a detail-oriented Programmer/Analyst Programmer to join its team in Hong Kong.

You will develop, enhance and maintain internal applications, translate requirements into technical solutions, write clean, well-documented code, and collaborate with analysts and stakeholders in an agile environment. Proficiency in .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core) and ReactJS, plus RESTful APIs and SQL, is required; experience with AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core) and ReactJS for web applications.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, web services and SQL databases.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain internal applications and systems.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑documented code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Use GitHub Copilot or other AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development, refactoring and unit test generation where appropriate.
• Participate in system design, code review, debugging and performance tuning.
• Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT, troubleshooting and fixing defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members in an agile / iterative environment and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years' solid experience in software development.
• Hands‑on experience in .NET (C# / ASP.NET Core) and ReactJS for web application development.
• Exposure to GitHub Copilot or other AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Codeium, Copilot‑style plugins) and willingness to adopt them in daily work.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, web services and integration with backend systems.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive learning mindset.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
