Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Hong Kong seeks an Analyst Programmer who will assist in optimizing system performance, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in User Acceptance Testing. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Information Technology, at least 2 years of experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud technologies. • Assist Project Manager in manage and monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimization strategies to enhance platform usability and scalability.
• Utilize agile methodologies to plan and execute project tasks, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative development.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand user requirements and project goals for the virtual event platform.
• Work closely with vendors and in-house technical teams to design and develop system functionalities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Review vendor deliverables, including system design, documentation, program standard, to ensure quality deliverable from vendors.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning, test case creation, and follow up defect resolution progress with development teams.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during the implementation and post-implementation phases.

• Degree / Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in large scale web project development and have ability to oversee.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and cloud technologies, such as AWS.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies, database systems and API integration.
• Experience in the followings would be an added advantage:
• REST API design, AWS Cloud services, ReactJS, NodeJS, containers, Messaging & Queue, DevOps environment and micro-services architecture, Video Streaming.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both English and Chinese.
