Job summary

Swing Consulting Ltd. is seeking an Analyst Programmer with cloud experience in Hong Kong. The role focuses on designing and building cloud-native components, including serverless APIs and data pipelines, and ensuring robust data modeling and API implementation.

Candidates should have 4+ years of IT experience with 2+ years in cloud development, strong Python skills, and proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases. Excellent Cantonese, English and Mandarin communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in cloud development.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), including serverless and managed data services.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience in data modeling, the Spark framework, and RESTful API implementation.
• Practical experience in data integration, ETL/ELT, or streaming data pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user requirement analysis and system design for in-house development projects.
• Undertake system development, including programming, testing, implementation, and related system maintenance, enhancements, and support tasks.
• Design and develop cloud-native application components, including serverless APIs, event-driven data pipelines, and containerized batch jobs.
• Design and implement relational data models, database objects, and data access logic.
• Prepare technical specifications, unit and integration test plans, and system documentation; participate in peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Support user acceptance testing, production cutover, parallel runs, and post-implementation stabilization.
