Venture Search is partnered with an independent placement agent and capital advisory firm based in Hong Kong, specialising in capital raising and fundraising solutions for alternative investment managers, private equity firms, private credit platforms, real estate funds, infrastructure funds and other alternative investment strategies.

The firm works closely with fund managers and institutional investors across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and other key global markets, providing tailored fundraising, investor coverage and strategic capital introduction services.

The firm is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Analyst to join its Hong Kong team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting fundraising mandates, conducting investment research, preparing marketing materials and developing relationships with institutional investors and alternative asset managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of fundraising mandates across private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds and other alternative investment strategies.
• Assist in preparing investment presentations, pitchbooks, fund overviews and investor marketing materials.
• Conduct due diligence and investment analysis on fund managers, investment strategies and underlying opportunities.
• Coordinate investor outreach processes and monitor fundraising progress.
• Assist senior team members in managing fundraising pipelines and transaction processes.
• Research and identify prospective institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, insurance companies, endowments, foundations and fund-of-funds.
• Support the development of relationships with institutional investors across Asia-Pacific and international markets.
• Conduct market research and analyse private markets and alternative investment trends.
• Prepare client presentations, investment memoranda, market updates and fundraising reports.
• Support senior management with new business development initiatives and client pitches.
• Monitor industry developments, fundraising activity and competitor positioning.
• Assist with investor communications and follow-up throughout the fundraising process.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1.5–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, asset management, private equity, private credit, investor relations, fund placement or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and alternative investment strategies.
• Excellent financial analysis, research and presentation skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Mandarin language skills would be advantageous, given the firm's investor coverage across Greater China.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
