Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is partnering with a leading global payments technology company to recruit a Compliance/AMLCO responsible for overseeing AML/CFT, MLRO duties and regulatory engagement to support HK MSO licensing.

You will develop AML policies, manage KYC/CDD, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring, and serve as the key liaison with regulators. A high-visibility role with senior leadership exposure in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of AML/CFT and compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HK AML regulations including KYC/CDD, sanctions, and transaction monitoring.
• Experience with MSO-licensed entities and regulatory engagements preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management with regulators and senior management.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the designated AMLCO & MLRO, overseeing AML/CFT and financial crime compliance.
• Support HK MSO licence application and regulatory engagement.
• Develop and maintain AML policies, procedures and controls.
• Oversee KYC, CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and SARs.
• Liaise with regulators and advise senior management on risks.
• Deliver compliance training and promote a culture of compliance.

Education

ACAMS/ICA or equivalent compliance certifications
