Job summary

IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED is seeking a skilled developer to design, develop and maintain Java-based backend applications for equities trading and financial markets. You will help build high-performance, event-driven trading systems across the full software development lifecycle.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work with business and technology stakeholders to deliver robust solutions for trading and market-facing applications, leveraging Agile practices and a strong grasp of JVM

Qualifications

Experience building large-scale event-driven and reactive systems, fault-tolerant and globally distributed.
Strong Java and/or C++ development with threading, networking, and data structures knowledge.
Familiarity with trading systems, order processing, market data or execution applications.
Production-ready code delivery in Agile / TDD environments.
Understanding of Linux internals, memory management, and TCP/UDP networking.
Knowledge of JVM internals, GC, JNI and related tooling is beneficial.
Knowledge of Aeron is preferred.
Degree in CS / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics or related technical field.
