CMB International Capital Corporation Limited is seeking an AI & Virtual Assets Investment Research Analyst to conduct in-depth research on AI-related sectors, technology firms and virtual assets in Hong Kong’s dynamic market.

The role requires 3–5+ years in tech, finance or investment, strong English, and familiarity with AI tools and HK VA ecosystems. You will produce research reports, investment views and internal materials.

Formación

• 3-5+ years of experience in technology, finance or investment.
• Experience in U.S. technology, AI, virtual assets or public equity research.
• Strong understanding of the AI industry value chain and major virtual assets.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong's virtual asset ecosystem, including VA trading platforms, asset management, funds, custody and relevant regulations.
• Basic programming or data analysis skills, preferably Python.
• Experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or other AI tools is a plus.
• Strong English reading and communication skills.

AI & Virtual Assets Investment Research Analyst

Conduct investment research on AI-related sectors, technology companies and virtual assets;

Track industry trends across AI models, cloud computing, semiconductors, data centers and energy;

Monitor major virtual assets including BTC and ETH, as well as stablecoins, trading platforms and on-chain ecosystems;

Follow the development of Hong Kong's virtual asset market, regulatory framework and licensed VA businesses;

Analyze company fundamentals, earnings, valuation and investment opportunities;

Use AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex to improve research, data collection, monitoring and review workflows;

Produce research reports, investment views and internal presentation materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Computer Science, AI, Data Science or related fields;
• 3-5+ years of experience in technology, finance or investment;
• Experience in U.S. technology, AI, virtual assets or public equity research;
• Strong understanding of the AI industry value chain and major virtual assets;
• Familiarity with Hong Kong's virtual asset ecosystem, including VA trading platforms, asset management, funds, custody and relevant regulations;

Candidates with a combination of AI/technology industry experience, public equity investment research experience and virtual asset knowledge are highly preferred.
