Job summary

CL Technical Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to manage daily operations, oversee backups and disaster recovery, and lead major infrastructure projects including AI/LLM deployments.

The role emphasizes governance, security compliance, and strong vendor management. The ideal candidate holds a CS degree with 6+ years in senior IT roles, hands-on VMware/OpenShift/Kubernetes expertise, and experience in ITIL and DevOps environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 6+ years of post-qualification IT experience, including 2+ years in Architect, supervisory, or senior technical support role.
• Hands-on experience with VMware enterprise technologies OR enterprise AI/LLM deployments and containerisation (OpenShift, Kubernetes/K3s).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, performance monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery for mission-critical infrastructure, including AI hardware such as GPU clusters and high-performance storage.
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects, system integrations, software release cycles, and patch management.
• Ensure compliance with Government IT security policies and ISO27001/ISO27701; assist in SRAA, drafting technical documents, procedures, tender specs, and solution proposals.
• Supervise junior staff, manage vendor activities, and provide updates to management; align architectural roadmaps with business objectives.
