ConnectedGroup on behalf of a leading Hong Kong financial regulator seeks an AI/ML Platform Engineer (DevOps) to help build and operate next-generation AI/ML platforms. You will design scalable services, integrate APIs, and ensure security, observability, and reliability across the stack.

You will collaborate with data scientists and product teams to deploy analytics and ML models in a robust, compliant environment with strong emphasis on performance and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree in CS or related field
• 3+ years in AI/ML platform development and DevOps
• Strong software engineering and system design background
• Hands-on Python programming
• Experience with DataOps/MLOps in large-scale enterprise
• Experience delivering large-scale data infrastructure (hundreds TB)
• Experience with public clouds (AWS/Azure/AliCloud)
• Familiar with Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
• Experience with ML/AI tools: Jupyter, MLflow, Ray, vLLM
• Familiar with DevSecOps tools: Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Git, Ansible, Nexus, Harbor
• Experience with testing: JMeter, JUnit, PyTest
• Nice to have: international team, financial services domain
• Excellent communication and data-driven mindset
• Strong team management and problem-solving abilities

Responsabilités

• Develop and operate AI/ML platforms including monitoring, logging, and deployment of apps

Our Client is the de facto central bank and primary financial regulator of Hong Kong As an AI/ML Platform Engineer(DevOps Engineer), you will contribute to both the development and ongoing operation of next-generation AI/ML platforms, ensuring they stay secure, high-performing, and reliable. You will also help design additional solutions by aligning technical capabilities with the organization's most critical business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of AI/ML platforms, including monitoring, logging, and deployment of proprietary, open-source, or internally developed applications.
• Design and develop services, and integrate them with both internal and external APIs.
• Identify and assess emerging technologies that enhance the performance, maintainability, and scalability of the infrastructure.
• Deliver clear visibility into the architecture, operational state, and performance of the AI/ML platform.
• Collaborate closely with Architects, Platform Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver software in a continuous delivery environment.
• Partner with data scientists and business stakeholders to support the development and deployment of analytics and machine learning models.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in AI/ML platform development and DevOps engineer
• Strong background in software engineering and system design (required)
• Hands-on programming experience in Python
• Experience with DataOps/MLOps in a large-scale enterprise environment (preferred)
• Experience delivering large-scale data infrastructure (hundreds of TB) (preferred)
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, AliCloud) (preferred)
• Familiarity with the following technology stack:
  • Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes
  • Observability: Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
  • AI/ML Platform: Jupyter, MLflow, Ray, vLLM
  • DevSecOps Suite: Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Git, Ansible, Nexus, Harbor
  • Test Frameworks: jMeter, jUnit, PyTest
• Experience working in an international team with a solid understanding of the financial services industry (a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and a data-driven mindset
• Strong team management and problem-solving abilities; self-motivated, creative, with a proven track record of developing and driving firm-wide initiatives
