Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an AI Platform/Product Architect (Marketing GEO, SEO AI Search Optimization). The role focuses on turning ideas into scalable AI-driven marketing tech products, shaping the next-gen GEO and AI-SEO platform.

You will work within the Product and Technology team to drive innovations in search optimization and content discovery. The ideal candidate has a background in Software Engineering, Data Science, or Technical Product Development, with

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Data Science.
• Hands-on software engineering or data science experience, preferably in SEO/AEO or marketing tech products.
• At least 1 year of Generative AI experience for SEO/marketing products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Generative Engine Optimization capabilities for AI-driven SEO and content discovery.
• Build scalable systems transforming user search behavior and content signals.
• Develop data pipelines, search capabilities, indexing frameworks and content delivery solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Content and Commercial teams to translate requirements into tech solutions.
• Design and integrate applications with internal/external systems, APIs and data sources.
• Lead tech evaluations, PoCs and new product initiatives to support growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, development, and delivery of new products (Generative Engine Optimization) optimizing content to be surfaced in AI-generated results that help brands improve their visibility across emerging AI search and content discovery platforms;
• Build scalable systems that transform user search behaviour and content signals into structured, discoverable information;
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, search capabilities, indexing frameworks, and content delivery solutions;
• Work closely with Product, Content, and Commercial teams to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions;
• Design and integrate applications with internal systems, external platforms, APIs, and data sources;
• Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and new product initiatives to support business growth;

The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Data Science discipline;
• Hands-on experience in Software Engineering or Data Science, preferably within SEO, AEO, or digital marketing products.
• Minimum 1 year of experience developing Generative AI solutions for SEO, AEO, or marketing-related products, applications.
• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development patterns;
• Familiarity with RAG architecture, document retrieval, embeddings, and vector databases;
• Exposure to agentic AI solutions, orchestration frameworks, or multi-step AI workflows;
• Understanding of API integration and enterprise application development
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a project delivery environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
