This remote, hourly contract role requires native Chinese proficiency, teaching or evaluation experience, and strong English skills. The position offers flexible, asynchronous work with potential for ongoing engagement.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese.
• Experience teaching or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2).
• Familiar with CEFR frameworks.
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Chinese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Apply expert judgment to identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and pedagogically sound Chinese.
• Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
