Job summary

All Star Agency, Hong Kong-based bank, seeks a Team Head – AI Governance to lead the development and oversight of AI governance standards across business and technology teams. You will translate AI governance requirements into practical processes, reports and controls.

Reporting to the Section Head, Data Governance, you will manage policy creation, audits, risk assessments and escalation papers while promoting responsible AI practices and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Risk Management or a related discipline.
Substantial experience in AI governance, technology risk, model governance, data governance or related control functions within banking, financial services or Fintech.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the Bank’s AI-governance framework, including policies, guidelines, accountability arrangements and oversight procedures.
Coordinate governance reviews of proposed AI use cases, working with stakeholders to assess data usage, privacy, security, regulatory considerations and controls.
Establish processes for documenting AI initiatives, assigning owners, recording governance decisions and tracking issues.
