Job summary

Captiare, a fintech MNC in Hong Kong, is seeking an AI Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered solutions, integrate AI into platforms, and automate workflows.

You will collaborate with IT and business teams, manage PoC through deployment, monitor model performance, and ensure governance. Fluent in English and Chinese, with 2+ years of hands-on GenAI/LLM/RAG experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on AI solution delivery, preferably GenAI/LLM/RAG.
• Proficiency in Python and Java with strong SDLC and debugging skills.
• Experience with system & API integration, cloud platforms, and workflow automation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; English and Chinese fluency.

The job:

• Develop & enhance AI-powered applications, workflow automation solutions, intelligent business systems.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms, products & operational processes.
• Build automation solutions using APIs, scripting, orchestration frameworks, low-code tools to improve efficiency.
• Partner with IT development & business teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Support the full project lifecycle, from PoC development, testing, deployment, optimisation, to user adoption.
• Monitor application performance, model effectiveness, system reliability & usage metrics while providing production support.
• Ensure compliance & governance of AI solutions within the organization's frameworks.
• Promote AI adoption through user support, training, and knowledge sharing.

The candidate:

• Bachelor's degree holder in a relevant discipline.
• 2+ years of proven experience delivering technical AI solutions, preferably in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG.
• Track record of taking solutions from concept and development through to production deployment and support.
• Proficient in Python, Java with strong software engineering, SDLC, debugging, testing, and integration skills.
• Hands‑on experience with system & API integration, cloud platforms, workflow automation etc.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good command of English, Chinese.
