OAC Group Limited partners with a global professional services client to recruit an AI & Digital Transformation Lead. Reporting to the Regional Head of Technology & Innovation, this role drives adoption, configuration and support of advanced tech and AI tools across matters.
The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery, gathering feedback for Product Management and Technology Advisory teams, with travel across APAC offices as needed.
We are partnering with a global industry leading professional services provider as client to identify candidate for their AI & Digital Transformation Lead, a newly created headcount. Reporting to the Regional Head of Technology & Innovation, this position drives the adoption, configuration and support of advanced technology and AI tools—including Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, AI Agents, Kira, Power BI, etc. This full-time role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery, gathering feedback for the Product Management and Technology Advisory teams. Business traveling across multiple mainland offices a few times annually will be required.
Translate User Needs: Understand internal legal and client requirements to recommend, configure, and deliver effective technology solutions.
Drive GenAI & Tech Adoption: Promote and support the firm's legal tech stack (including Copilot and ChatGPT) across live matters like contract analysis, due diligence, and litigation.
Advise on Advanced Workflows: Guide teams on integrating AI, document automation, and tech-assisted workflows while supporting power users to boost delivery capabilities.
Build Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to lawyers and clients, promoting technology through tailored demonstrations, presentations, and matter-specific configurations.
Support Business Development: Demonstrate the firm’s legal technology capabilities during pitches, proposals, and client engagements.
Track Market Trends: Monitor emerging legal tech and GenAI trends to identify new opportunities for firm-wide adoption and innovation.
Provide Product Feedback: Gather attorney feedback throughout the product lifecycle to inform improvements, guide product roadmaps, and collaborate with Product Management teams.
Ensure Compliance: Help ensure all implemented solutions and workflows adhere to firm policies, client requirements, data privacy, and security standards.
Engage in Community Practice: Participate actively in the Legal Technology Advisory Community of Practice and contribute to internal training resources.
Implement New Tools: Assist with project rollouts for new legal technology tools, aligning them with business priorities and immediate client needs.
Meet Core KPIs: Deliver on metrics related to toolkit adoption targets, lawyer and client satisfaction, timely matter support, and successful project rollouts.
GenAI Proficiency: Proven hands‑on experience recommending and supporting tools like Copilot and ChatGPT in professional legal environments.
Technical Expertise: Familiarity with contract analysis, document automation,, transaction management tools and Microsoft 365/Power Platform.
Industry & Strategic Insight: Strong grasp of the technology landscape, combined with sound judgment to evaluate solutions against firm goals and challenge the status quo.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to partner with stakeholderss and IT specialists using strong problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills.
Communication & Engagement: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, delivered with enthusiasm, along with strong relationship‑building abilities.
Organization & Time Management: Outstanding ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple tight deadlines effectively.
Office & Travel Flexibility: Adherence to the firm’s hybrid work policy (at least 3 office days per week) and willingness to travel 6–8 weeks annually across APAC offices (e.g., Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai).
Schedule Versatility: Ability to work outside standard business hours when necessary to collaborate with teams across different time zones.
Work Authorization: Must possess valid legal authorization to work in the hiring jurisdiction, with sponsorship evaluated per local rules and firm policy.
