Job summary

Smith in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/ Credit Control professional to manage daily AR, collect payments, and assess new customers. Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential, as is strong interpersonal skill and proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems.

Join a multinational distributor with a focus on timely settlements, risk assessment, and ongoing collaboration with the Asia finance team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Collections (MNC background preferred).
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process daily cash receipts and manage AR settlements.
• Create or update customer accounts and conduct daily collection calls.
• Negotiate payment schedules with clients professionally.
• Evaluate new account applications and set credit parameters.
• Prepare and analyze monthly AR Aging and DSO reports.
• Identify and escalate payment disputes or high-risk accounts.
