Job summary

Tai Fat Hong Provision Co, a Japanese/HK food importer and wholesaler, seeks an accounting assistant to manage payments, vouchers, and financial records. The role supports month-end closing and cross-department data gathering.

We value detail-oriented, self-motivated professionals with good English and MS Office skills. Fresh graduates are welcome. Working hours are 9:00–17:30, Monday to Friday, with a possible Saturday alternate shift.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Accounting related discipline or qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years working experience in accounting/finance.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare payments and vouchers.
• Handle payment activities, including cheque preparation.
• Assist in petty cash reimbursement and staff claims.

Job description

This role involves managing payment activities, financial records, and accounting support across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare payments and vouchers
• Handle payment activities such as preparing cheques
• Handle petty cash reimbursement and staff claims
• Assist in month end closing and preparation of financial and management analysis reports
• Work closely with different departments in relation to accounting information gathering
• Liaise with customers and suppliers in relation to outstanding matters or issues
• Assist in ad-hoc assignments as required

About you

• Diploma or above in Accounting related discipline and or qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience
• Good computer skills in Microsoft office and applications
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, self-motivated, independent
• A good team player with a strong desire to learn
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Fresh graduates are also welcome

Working Hour: Monday to Friday (9:00 to 17:30) Alternative Saturday

Salary and Benefits

• HK$17,000 - HK$18,000 / per month ; bank holiday ;
• food allowance; year-end-bonus
