Job summary

Samsonite Latinoamérica is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in implementing Project Horizon. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of accounting experience, solid knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in SAP. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication with vendors are essential.

You will maintain accurate financial records, assist with month-end processes, and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly SAP.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with vendors and colleagues.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
