Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited, a leading contractor, seeks an experienced accounting professional for full-time support to the Service Manager and staff. You will handle contract-related financial tasks and assist with ad-hoc projects.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accountancy and 8+ years of accounting or auditing experience, with strong analytical and deadline-driven skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 8 years' full-time accounting or auditing experience; or relevant NEC target cost contract experience in public works.

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Company” or “China State Hong Kong”) started its construction business in Hong Kong in 1979. The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.

Responsibilities

• Working full time for the exclusive use of the Service Manager and its staff throughout the Service Period to provide accounting support to the Service Manager and its staff in the delivery of their duties associated with the contract;
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks and assigned projects.

Requirements

• Degree in accountancy or equivalent;
• At least 8-years full time working experience in accounting or auditing fields; OR possess relevant working experience in public works projects adopting NEC target cost contract forms;
• Strong analytical and self-motivated with good problem-solving skills;
• Independent, be able to meet tight deadlines;
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing.
