Job summary

Goldstream Investment is seeking a meticulous accounting professional in Hong Kong with 1–2 years of experience to support routine accounting, reconciliation, and reporting tasks. The role involves preparing full sets of accounts, FRR returns for licensed firms, and collaboration with auditors.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Excel and SAP, fluent in English and Putonghua, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in asset management or accounting.
• Big 4 training or experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in using SAP accounting system.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Putonghua.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine accounting functions including data entry, voucher review, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Prepare full sets of accounts and timely monthly management reports to meet deadlines.
• Assist in preparation of interim and annual financial reports for listed companies.
• Prepare FRR returns for licensed corporations on a monthly basis.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Assist in audits of listed companies and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support tax compliance work including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.
• Liaise with auditors and other professional parties.
• Collaborate with fund operations on accounting and reporting matters.
• Utilize AI tools and automation solutions to streamline processes, improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as required.
