Job summary

Yuanta Futures (HK) Co., Limited in Hong Kong Island is seeking an accounting professional to handle day-to-day functions including general ledger, payables and receivables, and month-end close. You will support regulatory reporting under SFC FRR rules and contribute to internal control and audits.

Manage daily treasury operations, monitor cash flow, and coordinate banking activities, while liaising with banks on KYC and reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably from SFC-licensed firms.
• Solid knowledge of SFC FRR rules and financial regulations is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and common accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting functions: GL, AP/AR, month-end close.
• Prepare and support regulatory reporting under SFC FRR rules.
• Assist in internal control and financial audit.

• Act as the primary contact for banking partners on opening, KYC, and reviews.
• Maintain relationships with banking networks and address queries.

Job description

Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing.

Prepare and support regulatory reporting in compliance with SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR) and relevant regulations.

Assist in internal control and financial audit.

Manage daily treasury operations, cash flow monitoring, and fund transfers.

Act as the primary point of contact for banking partners regarding account opening, KYC updates, and periodic account reviews.

Maintain strong relationships with banking networks and address operational queries.

Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Degree or Higher Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.

Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably gained from SFC-licensed corporations or financial institutions.

Solid knowledge of SFC FRR rules and financial regulations is a strong plus.

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and common accounting software.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
