The successful candidate will have a CPA qualification, a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 10 years in trading accounting, with strong English communication skills to liaise with international partners.
We are currently assisting a trading MNC in recruiting an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be handling reporting and treasury function.
Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Oversight: Manage core AP/AR workflows, banking operations, and complex entries (FX, intercompany, metals hedging), while supervising cash flow forecasting and monthly close schedules.
Treasury & Working Capital: Oversee cash collection, short-term cash flow forecasting, credit line liaisons with banking partners, and execution/reconciliation of metals hedging activities.
Balance Sheet Governance: Direct full monthly balance sheet reconciliations, prepare narrative reports, and establish a strategic roadmap to enhance balance sheet resilience.
Global Statutory Compliance: Lead annual audit preparations and oversee statutory tax and regulatory filings across Hong Kong, Australia, UK, Sweden, and Singapore entities.
Audit & Legal Alignment: Align internal accounting practices with the company's global corporate structure, including evaluating and onboarding new audit partners.
Process Optimization & Automation: Identify automation opportunities for complex transactions and streamline fiscal year-end workflows and internal controls globally.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree holder with CPA qualification
10 years or above accounting related experience in trading industry
Experience in cash flow management and FX/metals hedging
Fluent in spoken English is a MUST
