Job summary

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, seeks an experienced Accountant to drive finance transformation through AI, automation, data and technology. You will manage financial reporting, statutory accounts, intercompany reconciliations and governance compliance in a fast-paced fintech environment.

The role focuses on partnering with cross-functional teams to implement technology-enabled finance solutions, improve controls, and enable scalable decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent; ACCA or similar qualification.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting or finance transformation.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Experience in finance transformation, automation or consulting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and management reporting, including cash flow, tax, GST, budgeting and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and review annual reports, statutory accounts and management reports.
• Perform and review revenue, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external advisors.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to automate, simplify and transform finance processes.
• Leverage AI, GenAI, automation, data analytics and technology to improve accounting efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
• Partner with Finance Systems, Data, Engineering and business teams to implement technology-enabled finance solutions.
• Lead or support process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
• Translate complex accounting requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

We are looking for a high-performing Accountant with strong technical accounting fundamentals and a finance transformation mindset. Beyond core accounting and reporting, you will help transform Finance through AI, automation, data and technology, improving efficiency, controls, scalability and decision-making.

Experience in consulting, finance transformation or technology-enabled finance, particularly within FinTech or digital assets, is highly valued.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years’ relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consulting or finance transformation.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Experience in finance transformation, automation or consulting is highly preferred.
• Strong interest in AI, GenAI, automation, data and emerging finance technologies.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP, BI, workflow automation or financial systems experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Highly detail-oriented, curious and willing to challenge the status quo.
