Job summary

aimHigher Consultancy Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a finance professional to manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting. You will handle journal entries through to trial balance and statutory financial statements, and oversee daily finance operations including the general ledger, AP/AR, and treasury.

The role requires coordinating with external auditors, supporting annual audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Assist with tax filings and compliance matters.
• Prepare monthly management reports and budgets.
• Provide commentary on monthly results, forecasts, and variances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accuracy and timely month-end close.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Oversee daily finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and treasury

Manage and review financial transactions and records; perform bank reconciliations

Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process

Assist with tax filings and compliance matters

Management Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly financial management reports for management review

Support quarterly forecasts and the annual budgeting process

Perform financial analysis and provide commentary on monthly results, forecasts, and budget variances

Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports as requested by the Head of Finance
