Job summary

ATAL Engineering Group (ATAL) is seeking a finance professional in Hong Kong to lead business and group-level financial analysis, consolidation, budgeting, and management reporting. The role requires a degree in Accountancy or Finance and 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction/engineering.

Strong Excel/VBA skills and English/Chinese fluency are essential. High sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines; candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance required.
• Qualified accountant status preferred.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, construction/engineering background preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel and VBA knowledge highly preferred.
• Experience with ERP and Microsoft AX is an advantage.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication skills; able to interface with multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform business and financial analysis for the group and operating units; report to Management.
• Coordinate with business units on budget, forecast, cost and working capital control.
• Maintain Finance policies and procedures and ensure key controls are in place.
• Handle financial accounting and group consolidation.
• Assist with financial planning and analysis to facilitate decision making.
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned.

• Close liaison with business units and other departments on budget, forecast, cost and working capital control
• Maintain Finance policies & procedures, and ensure key controls are in place
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or similar discipline, Qualified accountant
• Minimum 2-4 years relevant experience with background in construction / engineering industry preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and applications; well versed in Excel, VBA knowledge/ experience highly preferred
• Knowledge in ERP and experience in Microsoft AX is an advantage
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent communication skills, able to work and interface well with personnel at various levels
• Proactive, independent, committed and with strong sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines
• Candidates with less experiences can be considered as Assistant Accountant
